güntherpierre's new guitar

günther-pierre tries out the brumlander guitar. we bought a cheap jazzmaster look-a-like guitar with a stratocaster pickup setup and rebuilt it into this beast.

five pickups, one behind the bridge, based on yuri landman's white eagle and moonlander, check out www.hypercustom.com. two outputs, selectable for each pickup & nine strings (the highest three strings are doubled). what you hear is just a few of the things it is capable of.

for this recording we used two small amps, one is clean and one has a bunch of delay and reverb. the music is improvised on the spot.

five sonatinae for guitar and bass ep [billy navrovski trio]

a cufnosed circus presents five sonatinae for guitar and bass by <b>billy navrovski trio</b> that was recorded the same week as the things on soundcloud, but without cresconio delarosa. a second layer of paint was added on the twentysecond of september 2012 under the influence of some unspecified stubbornness.

there is some space for words, some for envision. movements of claps, carts or coïncidence and there's a hidden blues. the picture on the front was found in the wide web, but due to our genes/roots we have lost track of the photos origin. props for weronika ogłoza, camille wren & l.r. vis.

entering autumn

summer's gone and lonely nights of surfing for entertainment lay ahead of us. throughout the winter we will publish some songs of 'billy navrovski trio' and 'the drowned magicians' that we wrote aeons ago and refound recently in our conscious. 'billy navrovski trio' created freeer sonatinae than ever and 'the drowned magicians' will just stay floating on the estuary. also, nuño has been doing some remixes that can be found here and we will publish his lp called <b>empty mountain</b> digitally before the spring.
meanwhile, 'the drowned magicians' keep rehearsing as a quintet and they are sculpturing <b>2:388  8    8 88</b> as well as preparing new material.

the drowned magicians at novanoïs last week and a friendly man with a moustache recorded everything. it wasn't the best concert ever played, but nonetheless we hope it's enjoyable. here's the setlist:
